Warranty & Guarantee Policy

1. General Warranty Terms

At JRV Spares, we are committed to supplying high-quality components and ensuring customer satisfaction. Many of the products we supply come with limited warranties provided by the original manufacturers (e.g. Perkins, JCB, Dixon, Apollo Tyres).

We do not issue blanket warranties but rather honour and facilitate the warranty terms from the respective brands we supply.

2. Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage may include:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Faulty materials or workmanship

  • Premature failure under normal use

Warranties typically do not cover:

  • Incorrect installation or misuse

  • Wear-and-tear from normal use

  • Failure due to lack of proper maintenance

  • Electrical components once fitted

  • Damage due to tampering or unauthorised repairs

3. Duration of Warranty

Warranty periods vary depending on the manufacturer and product type:

  • Perkins Engine Parts: Subject to Perkins global terms (available on request)

  • JCB Spares: Where applicable, as per supplier terms

  • Apollo Tyres: Standard tyre manufacturing warranties apply

  • Dixon Batteries: Manufacturer warranty typically 12–24 months (based on usage class)

JRV Spares will confirm individual warranty durations at the time of quote or upon request.

4. Warranty Claims Process

To initiate a warranty claim:

  1. Contact us via email at info@jrvspares.com with:

    • Original invoice or proof of purchase

    • Part number and description

    • Detailed fault explanation

    • Photos or evidence of the issue

  2. Our team will guide you through the next steps, which may include:

    • Returning the part for inspection

    • Manufacturer verification or testing

    • Completion of a formal warranty form

  3. If the claim is approved, we will:

    • Replace the part (if available)

    • Offer a credit or partial refund

    • Facilitate further action with the brand’s technical department

Note: Warranty claims are subject to approval by the supplier or manufacturer. JRV Spares cannot guarantee outcomes beyond our control but will assist in full.

5. Guarantee of Fitment or Performance

JRV Spares does not provide performance guarantees unless:

  • The part was selected by us after receiving full equipment specs

  • The installation was done by a JRV Spares-approved technician

Parts purchased incorrectly or installed without proper diagnostics are not guaranteed to fit or function, and may void warranty.

6. Limitation of Liability

JRV Spares will not be held liable for:

  • Downtime or business loss due to part failure

  • Costs of re-installation or diagnostics

  • Consequential damage caused by product failure

Our liability is limited strictly to the replacement value of the part.
