Refund & Returns Policy

1. Overview

JRV Spares (Pty) Ltd supplies genuine and/or replacement spare parts sourced from trusted local and international manufacturers. Due to the nature of our business and the custom sourcing of components, we follow a strict but fair Refund and Returns policy.

Please read this policy carefully before requesting a return or refund.

2. Return Eligibility

Products may be eligible for return under the following conditions:

  • The part delivered does not match the part number or description quoted

  • The item is defective or damaged on delivery (must be reported within 3 working days)

  • The part is unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging

  • The return is requested within 7 working days of delivery

Items not eligible for return:

  • Special orders or non-stock items sourced specifically for you

  • Electrical parts or components once installed

  • Any part damaged due to incorrect installation or misuse

  • Products used without confirming compatibility

3. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at info@jrvspares.com with your invoice number, part number, reason for return, and supporting photos (if applicable).

  2. Our team will assess the request and confirm whether the return is approved.

  3. Approved returns must be sent back to us at the sender’s cost unless the error was on our side.

4. Refunds

  • If your return is approved, a refund or credit note will be processed within 7–10 business days of receiving the returned item.

  • Refunds are issued at our discretion and may be subject to a handling or restocking fee (typically 10–15%).

  • Refunds will be made to your original payment method or via EFT.

5. Supplier-Specific Returns

JRV Spares sources from multiple suppliers. For parts supplied under manufacturer warranty (e.g., Perkins, JCB, Apollo Tyres, Dixon Batteries):

  • We will assist in facilitating the warranty return or exchange

  • Manufacturer terms and timelines will apply

  • JRV Spares cannot guarantee turnaround times beyond our control

6. Important Notes

  • We advise customers to confirm part numbers and compatibility before placing an order or accepting a quote

  • Please inspect all deliveries on arrival

  • Keep all original packaging until you are sure the part is correct
